Installed setup as normal and close the program completely. Im on version 3.90 custom firmware m33-2 and ive been reading millions (exaggeration) of guides and I cant figure out why it wont see it.

Tried to update it to the official 6.60 update, but when I download the update then tried to install it, it says 'The game could not be started (DADADADA) ' Under 'Game' there is the option 'PSP Update ver 3.51', when selected it says 'The version of your PSP system is 3.60. I had no problems with it, so changing your Firmware isn't necessary.
I was on 6.20 PRO-B8 the time the demo came out. I am currently on 5.50 Prom-4 and have a PSP 1001. I am wondering if I should upgrade to 6.39 ME to play the new Final Fantasy Type-0 demo that going to be released to today.
